Women in Property Melbourne
Event Recap
Last month, Ava and Emma had the pleasure of attending a Women in Property Melbourne event, held at The Terrace within the Royal Botanic Gardens- a beautiful setting for an afternoon focused on connection, growth and conversation.
Events like these bring together women from across all areas of the property industry; from development and construction through to legal, conveyancing and advisory, creating a space to connect, share experiences and learn from one another. At Mercury Conveyancing, we’re big believers in surrounding ourselves with like-minded professionals who are pushing the industry forward, and this event was a perfect example of that.
A Conversation on Belonging
A highlight of the day was hearing from Dr Emily Musgrove, practicing psychologist and author (also known as Dr Em from The Imperfects Podcast), who delivered a thoughtful and engaging keynote.
Her presentation centred around the concept of belonging- both in our personal lives and within professional environments and explored how this shapes confidence, decision-making and the way we show up in our careers. Through a series of relatable case studies and real-life examples, she unpacked the pressures many professionals face and the importance of creating spaces where people feel genuinely seen, supported and valued.
It was a powerful reminder that success isn’t just about performance, but also about connection and feeling like you belong in the rooms you step into.
The event was expertly hosted by Caty Price, who created a warm and engaging atmosphere and facilitated meaningful conversations throughout the evening.
Mercury's Takeaway
Ava and Emma left the event feeling inspired, grounded and incredibly proud to be part of such a strong and supportive network of women shaping the future of property.
At Mercury Conveyancing, we are passionate about not only delivering exceptional service to our clients, but also being active contributors within the broader property community. Events like this reinforce the importance of connection, collaboration and creating spaces where people feel they truly belong- values that sit at the core of what we do.
We’re already looking forward to the next one.
